![]() Now that I have some time to actively update the database, I'd like to update the 7800 screenshots. Unless there's a good reason to have her listed and a reliable source can be found, there's no reason to have it there.Note: List of games for which new screenshots have already been taken and replaced: Not to mention that the composer isn't even mentioned in the game through a credit screen or anything, she's credited in the ROM file as a hidden easter egg. Why is listing this specific composer for the NES version relevant? Blue Pumpkin Pie ( talk) 20:09, 19 September 2019 (UTC) Reply Exactly. I made the same mistake when i was working on Edge (video game). Doommaster1994 ( talk) 01:24, 19 September 2019 (UTC) Reply I personally don't know if its even relevant to give composer credits of a port unless there's external coverage citing why the sound of the original and the port are different. How are credits from the game not considered a reliable source?Īdditionally, there are soundtracks of the arcade version officially released by Namco that credit the composer for the arcade version. There are credits in the game's ROM file of the NES version. Blue Pumpkin Pie ( talk) 19:34, 27 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Music Credits ![]() I still think the Development section needs work, but perhaps this isn't an issue for GA. I'm still going to double-checking some areas.18:49, 25 July 2019 (UTC) Namcokid47 ( talk) 18:41, 25 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Its looking pretty good. Narusawa is also infact a book, which I've since made more clear in the article. I found a few print-based sources from around the game's original release which should help justify the "critical acclaim" the second paragraph says. Narusawa reference seems a little sparse, is that a book or is it a reference to another citation in the article? Could i get more clarification on that? Blue Pumpkin Pie ( talk) 17:46, 25 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Honestly that whole section should be bulked up with information, I didn't do a good job with that. ![]() I'm not sure if critical acclaim is the right choice considering how few reviews there are of the game. Indrian ( talk) 18:50, 24 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Ī few things that drew my attention. I took this with the best of intentions but got hit with real life right afterwards. ![]() Namcokid47 ( talk) 17:49, 24 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Please do take it over. In the meantime I'll start fixing the issues you brought up. Indrian ( talk) 20:47, 4 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Yeah, I'd be okay with that. If for some reason I don't and you want a new reviewer at that point, I will completely understand. Got hit with a big project in the real world that knocked me off course here. Do you still plan to review it? Namcokid47 ( talk) 18:28, 4 July 2019 (UTC) Reply Hey there, it's been about two months since I've seen any activity on this nomination page.I should have it reviewed before the end of this coming week. Does not come off as impatient at all.I hope I'm not coming off as impatient, but do you plan to review this soon? I'm fine with waiting if it's in your plans. It might take me a couple of days to get to this, but I would love to review this article on such an important game. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review. This review is transcluded from Talk:Xevious/GA1. Well, considering that the name "Xavier" is pronounced with the a, then wouldn't Xevious be pronounced "ecks- ee-vee-us"? - Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.182.66.252 ( talk) 23:04, 25 February 2017 (UTC) Reply when in the future is this? and whats the name of the aliens? I often pronounce it Zi-viy-you, but I think zee-vee-us is correct - Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:304:B162:81C9:E812:15DB:1571:158F ( talk) 00:33, (UTC) Reply Despatche ( talk) 02:19, 27 January 2011 (UTC) Reply Everything points to the title being a made-up word. in Japanese? What does the word "xevious" mean? If the title has no meaning then that should be written into the article, I suggest.- Szipucsu ( talk) 19:18, (UTC) Reply Īs the katakana indicate, it is pronounced "zeh-vee-us". 66.72.201.167 ( talk) 21:40, 17 November 2008 (UTC) Reply So is it a made-up name? Does it not mean anything e.g. Paul Richter 08:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC) Reply The description of the TV commercial strongly implies that indeed that was how it was pronounced. In Japanese it's clearly ゼビウス (" zebiusu"), but if "devious" is pronounced " dee-vee-us" in English then " zee-vee-us" seems reasonable. I call it " zee-vee-us", but who's to say what's correct? It's a made-up name, so presumably whoever made up the name gets to decide. ekedolphin 08:36, 27 March 2007 (UTC) Reply It would be worth describing if only there were something to base it on. Is it pronounced "ecks-eh-vus", or "zee-vee-us"? Either way I think it could be argued that the pronunciation should appear in the article.
